Overview and Strength:

Since some players already unlocked the Mega Knight, Surgical Goblin decided to include it in his Miner + Poison deck for Challenges and Tournaments. He replaces the P.E.K.K.A with this heavy jumping tanker to do an almost unstoppable counter-push.

The strength of this deck is its ability to do a strong counter-push with the Mega Knight. Your main push is pretty fast with the Miner + Bats or Goblins and have the Mega Knight ready for any counters.

Card Roles:

  • Bandit - A three elixir card that can charge towards his/her tower. She can also deal a good amount of damage to a counters. Put her at the bridge.
  • Bats - Use them for both offense and defense. You can use them together with your Miner.
  • Goblins - Another vesatile card that you can use for both offense and defense. If your opponent is busy with the Mega Knight, sneak in with a Miner + Goblins or Bats push in the other lane.
  • Inferno Dragon - Tank destroyer. After the opponent uses their Zap against your Bats and/or Goblins it can go towards their tower and deal massive damage.
  • Mega Knight - Your ultimate counter push. Use him like how you'll use a P.E.K.K.A.
  • Miner - Main tanker for your Bats and Goblins. He will be your main push and your Mega Knight is for a big massive counter-push.
  • Poison - Spell for both offense or defense. You can use it to protect your Miner or for any distraction for your Mega Knight.
  • Zap - Resets Infernos and get rid of swarms.

Clash Royale Strategy:

Ideal Strategy:

The Ideal Strategy of this deck is the same as your usual Miner Control Strategy with the P.E.K.K.A. You deal your damage by using the Miner as a tanker followed by cheap units like Goblins and Bats. The Mega Knight is there to counter pushes like Hog Riders and go straight to a counter-push with the Bandit and other support cards.

If you already have the Miner in hand, you can directly go to his/her tower to check what cards he/she has. You can then counter with the Mega Knight. You can also start slow by using your cheap cards and the Bandit. After successfully countering his/her push, deploy the Miner just before they reach the bridge to tank for your units. Use your Mega Knight only for a counter or if you feel like you still have a push going.

Use your Goblins as a lure and bait them in the middle of your base. You can then add the Bandit. If you're facing tanky units, use the Mega Knight and get ready for a counter-push. You can also use the Poison for defense to your opponent's troops, which is perfect for your Mega Knight's splash damage.

The main weakness of this deck is the P.E.K.K.A. Use your cheap units first like the Goblins to distract the P.E.K.K.A and lure the opponent's Zap then drop your Inferno Dragon to finish her.

Watch Surgical Goblin use this deck against Hog Riders, P.E.K.K.As, and even another Mega Knight.

Final Overview:

If you're fond of playing with Miner Control decks, this deck is for you, especially if you have the Mega Knight unlocked. The great thing about this deck is you have two win conditions. You can either go Miner Control for a quick cycle and leave the Mega Knight or go for a counter-push with this heavy tanker and then finish off with the Miner.
