Overview & Strength:

Wreck hard with the classic Giant-Loon synergy along with the newest card in the game, the Flying Machine. With the right supporting cards on board, making a solid push is possible.

Card Roles:

  • Giant - Main Tank. Deploy the Giant and support it with the Flying Machine, Balloon, etc.
  • Balloon - Heavy Tower Hitter. Backup your Giant with the Balloon for a stronger carnage.
  • Flying Machine - Aerial/Ground Sniper. Place this card behind or near your towers to attack units one by one. Think of it as a flying Musketeer.
  • Minions - For Defense or Distraction. Deploy the Minions for cheap counters against ground or select air units. You can also use them as your Giant-Loon support troops.
  • Barbarians - Tank Smasher. Deploy the Barbarians to stop ground bulky units.
  • Fire Spirits - Cheap Splash. Cast the Fire Spirits to annihilate swarm of low HP troops such as the Minion Horde, Goblin Gang, or even the Skeleton Army.
  • Arrows - Extra Splash Spell. Cast this spell to take down air or ground swarmers quick. Best pick in taking down the Princess or Spear Goblin.
  • Zap - Snap and Reset. Use the Zap in resetting the Inferno Dragon/Tower's damage. You can also cast this to stop a bunch of low HP swarmers.

Clash Royale Strategy:

Ideal Strategy:

The ideal strategy of this deck is to successfully support the Giant with the Balloon behind. Tagged with your Flying Machine and the rest of your cards, you can beat down a tower real quick. Place the Flying Machine behind the Balloon. Support it with the Minions and cast spells depending on the enemy's answer.

Offense:

In this phase, you can start your offensive push by deploying the Giant behind the King Tower. Support it with the Flying Machine behind. Once he crossed the river, cast the Fire Spirits to get rid of some cheap counters. Prepare the Arrows or the Zap to prolong the Giant's existence. You can cycle this strategy in the first minutes of the game.

Once the final minute strikes, you can surprise your enemy with the Balloon in your next push. Assuming that you know how their deck works, you can now sneak the Balloon with the Giant and other available cards easily.

Defense:

For defense, you can deploy the Barbarians against chunky ground units such as the PEKKA, Golem, or the Mega Knight. Try to scatter the Barbarians around the Mega Knight to avoid splash damage to all of them. Do this by placing the card in the center of the enemy's unit during deployment. You can also use them in taking down the Elite Barbarians. Use the Flying Machine's ability in taking down aerial units. Support it with the Minions when needed. Prepare and cast your spells for cheap counters if possible.

Additional Tip:

Deploy the Flying Machine to support your Giant Loon duo in taking down an Inferno Tower/Dragon. Cast the Zap to reset their damage and/or target.

Weakness:

Building cards/Swarms are always a big challenge for this kind of deck. In order to defeat those, you will need to prepare your Spells and Minions often. If a PEKKA or a Mega Knight is hindering your Giant, deploy the Barbarians around the counter-unit. Let them distract it and if needed, cast the Fire Spirits for extra damage.

Overall:

Having the Flying Machine will help you defeat early dropped counter units from afar. But be wary that it can be taken down easily. Though having a solid pair, Giant with Balloon is strong, placing your support units can highly increase your chance of taking down towers.
