|Are you having a hard time dealing with enemies in Arena 5? Well, here is a deck you may want to try.|
Spell Valley, or Arena 5, is a hard arena to win at. People have a lot of EPIC and RARE cards here, and you really need to have a deck that you already mastered. If you manage to get in Arena 5 and still looking for a good deck. Here is a low elixir deck that you may want.
I personally use this as it pushed me to Arena 6.

This deck's strengths are control and defense. You cannot go offensive on this one unless your enemy has exhausted his elixirs. Most of the time you are going to defend and counter enemies' attacks while attacking the opposite lane with your tank.
Meet the Low Elixir Deck for Arena 5
|Hog Rider||Spear Goblins||Archers||Barbarians|
Average Elixir: 3.5 (Musketeer only has 4)
- Hog Rider - He is going to be your main attacker as he primarily focuses on towers and buildings. Only use him when the enemy is pushing in one of your lanes.
- Musketeer - She can be either a support or defensive unit depending on the situation. She is a great counter for wizards, balloon, witches, and baby dragons.
- Rage - A support card for defense if you are being pushed hard. On the other hand, use it with a hog rider or barbarians as they can destroy towers if left alone.
- Fireball - This is to counter several troops at once, especially on the bridge. They damage witch, barbarians, wizard, and musketeer significantly. If your enemy is trying to push, this can eliminate most of his troops giving you a huge advantage.
- Spear Goblins and Archers - Use for defense most of the time as they will be distracting P.E.K.K.A, mini P.E.K.K.A, and Prince. They can also defend the tower from Minion and Minion Horde.
- Cannon - A great defensive building to counter tanks who focuses on buildings., like Giant, Balloon, and Hog Rider. Do not drop it when your enemy is not doing anything, you have to drop it to surprise him.
At the start of the game, never drop anything unless you have 10 elixirs. Wait for your enemy to attack you first even if it wastes 30 seconds. However, you can drop a spear goblin or archers at the back of your tower just to cycle your deck.
Once he starts pushing a lane, counter it appropriately. If it is a tank like Prince, mini P.E.K.K.A, or anything who attacks anything on the ground, use Spear Goblins as a bait and put down a cannon near it. You can use Barbarians too if you have spare elixir after dropping the Spear Goblins. On the other hand, if your enemy puts down a tank like Giant or Hog Rider, put down the cannon first so he will attack it. The best position is in the middle so there is a chance for the other tower to attack too. Use barbarians immediately to corner the tank and viola, no damage has been done for your tower, or at least not too much damage.
Sneak a Hog Rider on the opposite side to attack his tower. Usually, the enemy does not have anything to counter unless he has skeletons, minion, or goblins. At the very least, we could get two hits from our hog rider and that's plenty enough. When a stalemate happens, use the time to gain as much elixir as possible. Like I mentioned this deck is a defense and control deck. Minimize the attack to your tower while damaging his tower bit by bit.
If he puts down a barbarian, witch, or a wizard, quickly use fireball to deal damage with them and put down a barbarian or archers once they reach the bridge. The musketeer can also be used for attack if you do not have a hog rider in your hands.
Once the 60-second mark hits, keep the defense strategy. But make use of your hogs + rage combo as they can destroy a tower if left alone (even if he puts down something to counter it). You can use it on barbarians + musketeer + rage too, they can destroy a tower if he does not have a bomb tower.
If you reach the overtime period. There are 2 strategies here. One is to win one, and the other is to get a draw. If your enemy's tower has below 1000 health, try to win the game. First, try to push a lane so he can focus on defending one side while you sneak in a hog rider on the side where his tower is at low HP at least. Use rage as it only costs 3 elixirs to deal maximum damage. If he tries to push a lane, and the enemy's tower is only below 200, use your fireball to end the game.
On the other hand, if he sustains minimized damage only and has 1/2 of his health, it is best to go for defensive strategy as you cannot win in a 60-second interval. Use the previous strategy. Distract the tank by putting cannon or spear goblins. Use musketeer to defend from balloon or baby dragon. Use fireball to kill several units at once if he tries to push one line. Use barbarians and rage to kill several units, if the enemy tries to sneak in a tank on the other side. If you put the cannon at the perfect spot in the middle, the tank would surely go there so you do not have to worry. A draw is better than losing trophies.

This deck's weakness is the bomb tower. Its AOE damage is too huge and it has a high HP. You can use your hog rider or musketeer to destroy it or at least shorten its life. This deck is also weak for a massive aerial assault. You can use spear goblins, musketeer and archers to defend yourself. But if you do not have this on your hand, a balloon and minion horde would surely destroy your tower with ease.
