Check out what's new in the November 5, 2018 Balance Update!
Having two strategies in one deck is now getting popular. This also applies to the the new legendary card, the Night Witch. Clash With Ash shared Ale's deck on his channel featuring the Lava-Witch and the Miner Poison combo in one deck. This combination of strategies makes a great synergy for both offense and defense.
One of the strength of this deck is the two strategies you can use. Whenever the Lava Hound is not available, you can go with the Miner + Poison. If you've already amassed enough elixirs for the Lava Hound, get ready for a push. It also has enough units to counter any pushes.
Lava-Night Witch Miner Poison Combo:
|Baby Dragon||Goblin Gang||Lava Hound||Miner|
- Baby Dragon - A great splash unit that can also tank. You can also pair this card together with the Lava Hound.
- Goblin Gang - Cheap units that you can use for both offensive support and defense. Use them against Graveyards, other Lava Hound + Balloon Decks etc.
- Lava Hound - The main tanker of the deck. The Lava Hound can soak enough damage to give your support units like the Night Witch to get rid of counters.
- Miner - Use him to tank for your Lava Hound's Lava Pups. You can also use him as an alternative push with the Miner + Poison combo.
- Night Witch - She is great on both offense and defense. She spawns 2 Bats and spawns 4 more bats as her death damage.
- Poison - Awesome spell that can melt units that counter your Miner or Lava Hound.
- Tombstone - This building spawns Skeletons that can lure units away from your tower. Use this defensively and have your Night Witch finish any intruders.
- Zap - Great against low HP units such as Minions, Minion Horde, Goblin Gang, and Skeleton Army.
Clash Royale Strategy:
The Ideal Strategy of this deck is to defend with the Night Witch and Baby Dragon and then plant the Lava Hound at the bridge. Any incoming units will be distracted by the Lava Hound thus giving your Night Witch and other support units time to get rid of them. Use the Miner together with the Poison to win the game.
You may want to just start defending and prepare for a great counter push. But if you want to go on offense, do the usual Lava Hound at the corner of your base. Lure incoming units with your Tombstone and counter them with your Goblin Gang and Night Witch. Once the Lava Hound reaches the bridge, deploy your Baby Dragon to have a good support. You may want to have the Night Witch at the back of your push.
Add the Miner + Poison or just use the Poison for additional support.
The Tombstone is there to lure units in the middle. Use the Night Witch and her Bats to finish them off. You can also use the Splash damage of the Baby Dragon and to set up for another push.
If you're facing a Graveyard, you can use the Goblin Gang to defend your tower. If you're up against another Lava Hound, you can use the Night Witch together with the Baby Dragon and you can add the Goblin Gang as well. Once finished, put your own Lava Hound in front of the push.
You can leave the Lava Hound and just have the Miner + Poison push. You can have the Baby Dragon to tank for your Night Witch.
If you've played the Night Witch challenge, one of the greatest counter against the Night Witch is the Executioner. The Baby Dragon is also her direct counter. If you're facing against the Executioner, you can have the Miner sneak from behind to finish him. If it's the Baby Dragon, you can have your Goblin Gang or your own Baby Dragon.
Check out how Clash With Ash uses this deck and won Challenge games with a Lava Hound push.
Upon analyzing the strategy Clash With Ash gave, it sure is effective. The most important advice he gave for using this deck is: Wait for your opponent and Use the Lava Hound as a defense troop. Looks like this deck is made for counter-pushing. Use the Night Witch and other units to counter and then drop the Lava Hound to start your push.
