The Balloon frustrates a lot of unprepared Clash Royale players. Thankfully, there's a good counter for it that's already sitting on your deck.

Overview:

The Balloon, other than the X-Bow, nothing else seems to drive Clash Royale players up a wall quite like these two cards. As the Balloon does massive amount of damage to your Crown Towers, it even has enough HP to stick around long enough to take down it down, along with your troops around its bomb.

Strengths:

When paired with the Freeze Spell, the Ballon can take down a Crown Tower with ease. Regardless of your opponents defence against the Balloon, all you have to do is play Freeze around anything that would damage it. After that, the Ballon will knock down that tower before the Freeze's lifespans ends.

The Balloon can also be played like the Prince; you surround it with Hordes of your liking to protect it. I recommend Minions as they can protect your Balloon and also dish out quite a bit of damage if left unchecked by your opponent.

How to Counter the Balloon:

1: Minion Horde: They will make quick work of a Balloon.

2. Baby Dragon: This card depends on your timing, in order to burst that ballon it must be played as soon as the balloon cross over onto your side.

3. Inferno Tower: The Balloon will target your Inferno Tower before your Crown Towers, but thankfully the Inferno Tower will be able to take down the Balloon before it's able to destroy it.  The Inferno Tower, however, will suffer some serious damage.

4. Wizard: He can take down almost everything, but you must play him as soon as the Balloon reaches your side.

The Clash Royale Balloon is not just for support. In some good cases, you can disguise it as your main attacker without your opponent noticing it.

Since the Balloon can be acquired in earlier arenas with luck, here's a guide to use it for Arena 2.

The balloon is a nice addition to your Clash Royale Deck if you know how to properly play it.

Let's take a look at how the Balloon can help in pushing and destroying towers with the aid of your other troops.

All in all, the Balloon is particularly deadly when left alone. It is recommended that you react and strategize accordingly once you realize that the opponent has this card in his or her deck.
