Overview

Minions

The Minions make a great scout troop to clear the way for larger units. Flying adds to their versatility, allowing them to distract ground units long enough for support to tear through them.

Strengths:

Skeletons Barbarians Giant Skeletons

The most obvious strength they possess is the ability to fly. Coupled with their movement speed, they make excellent counter troops to things like Skeletons or Barbarians. At the right level, these creatures are able to tear right through Giants and Giant Skeletons. Don't forget the fact they can target both air and ground troops.

Minions Baby Dragon Minions Musketeer
Minions Arrows Arrows Minions
Three Musketeers Minions

There are really a multitude of ways to dispatch the Minions. It's really up to the individual player how to remove them from the field of battle, but here are five cards that will make your enemies hate seeing your name every time it comes up. But, for the sake of order and time, let's review just five.

First, let's take a look at the Baby Dragon. This big guy does great because his fire breath does splash in addition to the direct hit, so even if the Minions aren't at the center of the blast, it can still take them all out. With an Area Damage of 100, and a range of 3.5, they won't stand a snowball's chance in hell against this small dragon.

The Musketeer actually has armor, so taking on these creatures won't even have her breaking a sweat. She possesses a ridiculous DPS of 109 at base level, making her a great exterminator for those flying beasts.

It's real easy to take out the Minions using Arrows, but it's really more of a way to annoy the enemy (love using the Arrows for that very reason).

Archers are the typical go-to when it comes to defending against Minions. With a hit speed of 1.1, they are always a reliable defense.

And last but not least, the Three Musketeers. This card... really, it's more for adding insult to injury if you're going up against Minions again. Why not deliver devastation to their flying strategy with this team of three old school shooters?
