Having trouble dealing with the Giant in Clash Royale? Take a look at this guide and see the best ways to take this monster down

Though they are only wired to go after enemy towers, the HP pool that Giants possess makes them extremely hard to take out quickly if one's cards are not at an ideal level. That also makes him a better distraction than most other cards.

Carrying an HP pool of 2000 from the get-go, it's almost impossible not to throw every melee unit one has against the Giant. This character embodies the term "meat shield." His attack may be slow, but with Damage at 120 and a DPS of 80, it's a good time to panic when you're out of elixir against the card.

How To Counter The Giant:

The Tesla Tower is a great counter to Giants. It has a decent range, allowing the building to attack before the enemy card reaches it. With a Hit Speed of 0.6, it can deliver dozens of attacks before it's ever taken down.

Giant Cannon Giant

Being just a few hit point under the Giant in health, the Cannon is another good way to counter. The damage rating is set at 96 with a DPS of 120. Combined with a Hit Speed of 0.8 (only 0.1 more than the Tesla Tower) and a range of 7, this card is great to pick the Giant off at a distance.

Probably one of the best cards to use for swarming, Barbarians are another counter if you're lucky enough to possess the card. Four units appear when deployed, each with a DPS of 50. They may not be as fast as others, but they can certainly get the job done.

Skeleton Army Giant

Lastly, now one of my favorites for swarming, the Skeleton Army is crazy effective against the Giant. Using this card, a player may be able to take out the enemy card in as little as 3 seconds.

Clash Royale Arena 4 Deck Without Baby Dragon or Prince

Here's how to get your way through Clash Royale's Arena 4 even without the elusive Baby Dragon and the tank Prince.

There is a slight chance that you still don't have a Baby Dragon or a Prince, two of the most popular cards in the low to mid-arenas. Well, if you have a Giant, why not form a strategy based on your highest HP unit?

Overall, the Giant is one formidable tanker. If you realize that the opponent's strategy is centered around it, then taking it down will mean his powerful support will also go down. This will provide you a clear path to the enemy Tower.

If you, however, is the one maneuvering the Giant, then be wary of these tactics that can take him down.
