Still wondering if your classic Hog Rider with Freeze mashup can still be viable in higher arenas? Well, this featured deck will prove that it is still powerful just like before. Best for both challenge and ladder battles!
The power of this deck basically relies on the Hog Rider. With the cheap support cards intact, making a strong impact to the enemy’s towers will be clearly seen.
This set of cards can wreck slow push, bait and even swarm decks. It can also do well against Elite Barbarians decks that are really a pain in the head in almost all arena stages today.
Hog Rider Freeze Comeback For Arena 10:
|Hog Rider||Knight||Minions||Fire Spirits|
- Hog Rider - Your main unit in destroying the enemy's towers.
- Knight - Can serve as your offensive and defensive buddy. Can chip in great damage if left ignored. A great distraction to any incoming threats in your base.
- Minions - Used to support your troops /towers all throughout (offense and defense).
- Fire Spirits - Will be your Hog Rider's partner in cheap effective attacks. Fire Spirits are also useful in taking down air hordes.
- Skeletons - Use to cycle the cards you need in certain situations. Can also serve as a distraction to any incoming troops. Team these units with the Knight often.
- Fireball - Use to annihilate a big wave of troops. Best answer against the Barbarians or Three Musketeers.
- Freeze - The spell you need to help the Hog Rider chip in further damage to its targeted tower. Cast this within the range of any counter units wisely.

Clash Royale Strategy:
The ideal strategy of this deck is to pull out the Hog Rider and Freeze combo early. Along with this deadly mashup, your supporting units/spells must be deployed wisely to kill counters and bring a massive pressure as soon as possible.
The main offense of this deck is the Hog Rider and Freeze. But if you are looking for a cheap yet effective chip-ins, you can try to do a Hog Rider with Skeletons and/or Fire Spirit. Through this, you can force the enemy to drop their cards early. Dropping your support units might need smart timing. After making your initial combo, study your enemy’s cards to formulate good counters later on.
Plant the Inferno Tower to lure bulky units like the Golem, P.E.K.K.A and the like. Cast the Fireball if a horde of incoming units is behind. Eliminate the Elite Barbarians by luring them with the Skeletons. Next, deploy the Knight to buy you extra time. You can either place the Minions above them or cast the Fire Spirits behind.
In some situations, you will need to cast the Fireball early in killing splashers. You can do this if the enemy tries to make a slow push. Once they dropped their notable support behind their King Tower, wait for an opportunity to smash it near their crown tower. Prepare your counter cards afterward.
The challenge might be found when dealing with air decks. To prevent this, you need to be wise in using your spells and the Inferno Tower. You might also need to make a counter push with the Hog Rider, even the enemy’s push is ongoing.

This set of cards is best for Hog Rider experts. Running a cycle deck is a challenge, and getting be used to it needs great practice from their past arenas. Leveling these cards are not that difficult, especially if you used most of them in your past decks.
If you feel you will love this Hog Freeze mashup, go ahead and try it. Also, switch cards if you need to. It all depends on the types of decks you are dealing with in upper arenas.
