Card Roles:

  • Hog Rider - Main Tower Wrecker. Deploy the Hog Rider along with the best available support unit(s) in your hands.
  • Flying Machine - Support Smasher. Team this flying unit with the Ice Golem, Knight Hog Rider and/or the Ice Spirit. Both useful in offense and defense.
  • Ice Golem - Kite Unit. Tank and distract towers/units effectively by casting this unit frequently.
  • Knight - Semi-Tank Support. Deploy the Knight to counter units such as the Elite Barbarians and the like. Support him with the Ice Spirit or the Ice Golem.
  • Ice Spirit - Card Cycler/Mini-Stopper. Cast the Ice Spirit to weaken horde like the Minions or the Minion Horde. You can also use this 1-elixir card to support your Hog Rider during offense.
  • Tornado - Drag and Assist. Cast the Tornado to activate your King Tower against the Miner or Goblin Barrel. You can also utilize this in pulling your enemy's team away from your tower.
  • The Log - Ground Swarm Sweeper. Use the Log to quickly get rid of the Skeleton Army, Goblin Barrel, or the Goblin Gang. The Log is a nice counter against the Princesses, too.
  • Fireball - Team Splitter. Utilize the Fireball in taking down towers or the opponent's squad aiming to take down your towers. Best answer against the Barbarians or the Three Musketeers.

Clash Royale Strategy:

Ideal Strategy:

The ideal strategy for this deck is to quickly cycle your Hog Rider to take down the enemy's towers. Create a strong push with the Flying Machine and other cheap yet effective support cards in each scenario. Maintain pressure to distract and devastate your opponent's strategy.

During offense, you will likely rely on the Hog Rider's ability. You can create the classic Hog with Ice Golem combo or Hog with the Ice Spirit. A Hog with the Knight is also a strong duo. The Hog Rider with the Flying Machine synergy is also possible and deadly at the same time.

Have the Log and Fireball ready depending on the enemy's answers. Like what we have stated in the combos above, you can create a team out of those. For example, you can have the Hog Rider Ice Spirit with the Flying Machine behind. This is highly possible after defending your base.

Some other notable duos are the Flying Machine with the Ice Golem or with the Knight.

For defense, you can have the Ice Golem tank for a bit against ground units. Let the Flying Machine or the Knight finish them off. You can also use the Ice Golem in weakening the Minion Horde. Use the Ice Spirit to take them down afterwards. If still alive, deploy the Knight to tank and stop them from reaching your tower.

Wipe the swarm units with the Log. Defend your towers against aerial monsters with the Flying Machine. Use Fireball if necessary.

Additional Tip:

Use the Flying Machine to help you get rid of planted buildings. Its range is enough to chip-in damage against those ignored or unguarded constructions.

The challenge for this deck is dealing with Aerial Decks. There might be times that you will be out of possible counters against them. The best way to answer this strategy is by making an opposite lane push. If fighting against a Lava Hound user, let your Hog Rider rush the opposite lane. With this, you can cycle your needed cards in order to stop their big push. If dealing with a Balloon user, use the Flying Machine's ability to take it down. Prepare spells to obliterate support units behind.

Indeed, the Flying Machine can do a lot of useful things in this deck. If played well, you can create a solid push as you cycle your Hog Rider quick in your next attacks.

Good luck!
