Overview and Strength:

The dawn of the Hog Rider and Elite Barbarians are going back in the arena. With this Hog E-Barbs deck, you can go for a split push and still defend your turf with the Inferno Tower guarding your base.

The strength of this deck is you can surprise your enemy with another push on the other lane and then use the Fireball to bring down any counters. If they also decided to make a push, drop the Inferno Tower with the Mega Minion or Goblins.

Card Roles:

  • Elite Barbarians - Win Condition card. Use them to demolish the opponent's tower. Deploy them after your Hog Rider push. You can also use them for defense.
  • Fireball - Spell card to use defensively and offensively. You can use it as a predictive spell or crush an enemy's push.
  • Goblins - You can combine this trio with your Hog Rider or use them defensively.
  • Hog Rider - Another win condition card. Place him at the start of the game preferably at the bridge to check what defense cards your opponent has.
  • Ice Golem - He can tank as well as act as a kite to any incoming invaders. With his death damage, you can easily get rid of Minions and Minion Horde.
  • Inferno Tower - Guards your base from any tower locking units.
  • Mega Minion - Main defense card. Use it together with the Inferno Tower to quickly dispose units.
  • Zap - Helps get rid of Minion Hordes and resets and Inferno Tower/Dragon against your push.

Clash Royale Strategy:

Ideal Strategy:

The Ideal Strategy of this deck is to have a naked Hog Rider dropped at the bridge. This will let you know what counter cards your opponent has. Answer their counter with the Ice Golem to tank and then push hard with the Elite Barbarians. Have the Fireball ready against another counter.

Just in case they have a tower locking unit, you have your Inferno Tower + Mega Minion. You can also use the Goblins to slow them down.

Offense:

The Hog Rider is there to test the waters. Drop him at the bridge and watch how your opponent will counter. Your Hog will have a couple of hits in and then counter appropriately. Use the Ice Golem to tank while your Elite Barbarians answer their counter and presto, you're ready for another push and then your Fireball for additional tower damage plus it clears their counter too.

Defense:

Great thing about these E-Barbs is you can use them for defense too. If your Inferno Tower can't handle the heat, you can use your Elite Barbarians. Your defense building should be partnered with the Mega Minion as much as possible as your E-Barbs can be used for a split push.

Weakness:

The weakness of this deck is of course swarms. If you're facing a Minion Horde, use the Ice Golem to calm them down and then Zap. Same as the Skeleton Army. Facing a Graveyard? Use the Ice Golem again and then Mega Minion or you can wait until they start to swarm and then Zap.

Gameplay:

NyteOwl figured out that card levels make huge a difference in a game, especially with the Elite Barbarians. Watch how he make his way through Arena 11 using this deck.

Overall:

Along with the Royal Giant, Elite Barbarians is also getting popular especially in Arena 10 - Hog Mountain. This is because in those arenas, players already have them all buffed up and then after pushing go with a Hog Rider for another push. To be honest, this kind of strategy just wrecks my game as I am currently using a Night Giant Beatdown Deck. Whenever I push in one lane, they go to the other lane with their Hog Rider and crush my tower for the win.
