DaReal Legend Of Gaming created a good counter-push deck that works pretty well on both Ladder Matches and Clan Battles. It is focused mainly on countering your opponent's units until double elixir time where you'll unleash the might of the Golem.
This deck has enough counter-cards to help you survive until double elixir time. These cards have the ability to counter-push just in case your opponent over-reaches. During the last minute of the game, you will unleash the Golem and caught your foe off guard and then stack your counter-push units behind to do a massive push.
Golem Poison Deck:
|Baby Dragon||Golem||Ice Wizard||Mini P.E.K.K.A|
- Baby Dragon - When you're still waiting for the double elixir time, this Baby Dragon can be your tanker on your counter-push team. It can also deal splash damage against an enemy.
- Golem - Your main unit with a big HP pool. Only use him during double elixir time.
- Ice Wizard - He has the ability to slow units down that is perfect for your units such as the Baby Dragon, Musketeer, Minions, and Poison to clear. He is also a great complement for the Poison Spell.
- Mini P.E.K.K.A - A couple of shots from this fellow can deal great damage. Perfect against tankers.
- Minions - Great flying units to support your push and they are also great in counter-pushing.
- Musketeer - Her firepower is epic. She is ranged so she can put down flying foes one at a time.
- Poison Spell - A spell card that can eliminate the usual counters for your Golem such as the Skeleton Army and Minion Horde.
- Zap - One of the worst enemies of the Golem is the Inferno Tower and the Inferno Dragon. Give it a Zap to reset their damage.
Clash Royale Strategy:
The ideal strategy of this deck is to play defense all throughout the first 2 minutes. Defend your base with the Musketeer, Ice Wizard, and Baby Dragon. This team can also make up a great counter-push. Use it whenever necessary.
Once you've reached double elixir time, deploy the Golem at the corner of your arena and wait for it to start walking. Once you have enough elixirs, make a great push by spamming the back of the Golem with your available units. Use the Poison Spell around the Golem to get rid of any low HP units along the way.
As this deck starts on defense, you can wait for your opponent to start pushing or you can have your Ice Wizard deployed at the farthest corner of your arena. Before he reaches the bridge, drop the Baby Dragon to act as a tank and then the Musketeer.
Cycle this through and add the Minions and the Mini P.E.K.K.A if necessary.
On defense, you can have the Ice Wizard to act as a lure to slow them down and then have your Musketeer and Baby Dragon tear them apart. You can add the Minions and Mini P.E.K.K.A if you need more fire power.
Wait until double elixir time to do the Golem push.
Once you've already put down the Golem, you can either spam your opponent with another Golem or flood him with Baby Dragons together with other units.
Always try to drop the Poison Spell on his tower too. This can give you chip-damage.
This deck doesn't have any buildings. You might get in trouble against tankers such as Giants, Royal Giants, and even Golems. You can put a stop by using your Mini P.E.K.K.A and then crumbling the support units behind them with the Poison Spell. Use your Ice Wizard to slow them down and Musketeer or Minions to tear them apart.

The Golem is becoming a popular card in the higher arenas. Even though its deployment speed is not that good, if supported by well-thought units and good strategy, even the slowest Golem can help you win the game.
