Giant Double Minions Deck for Arena 7 and Above
With only the Miner as a Legendary Card, any F2P player can use this deck in ladder matches to bag a lot of trophies.

Overview and Strength:
The Meta after August 2017 is filled with either P.E.K.K.As, Golems, Siege Decks, Spell Baits, and Hog Cycles. This deck by SirTag promises F2P players with the Miner to catch up and still earn those precious trophies in ladder matches. We put this deck in Arena 6 - Builder's Workshop as the cards are already unlockable there but this deck is working in Arena 11 - Legendary Arena.
The Strength of this deck is its ease of use. It uses the most basic strategy in the arena, which is the beatdown strategy. You also have a pair of Minions so you don't need to worry about any spells bringing it down. The Miner as always can save a push or tank for your Minions and/or Minion Horde.
Giant Double Minions Deck:
- Fireball - The spell card that can shut down clumps of troops. You can also use it to disable buildings near an opponent's tower. Sometimes used as a win condition card too.
- Giant - Main tanker. Shields your Musketeer from harm. Just before he dies, you can save the push by deploying the Miner.
- Goblins - They get rid of semi tanks and can also lure out Zap and Arrows.
- Miner - Your deck's push saver. He can also deal chip damage to the opponent's tower.
- Minion Horde - Shreds units and towers fast. Deploy the Minions first before landing this 5-elixir horde.
- Minions - Your first shredders of the deck. You can also use them against the Inferno Tower. Another Zap and Arrows bait card.
- Musketeer - She is a great support for your Giant. She can deal an incredible amount of damage to a tower and troops.
- Zap - Resets Infernos and get rid of swarms. Take care not to use it in spell bait decks.
- Miner - He is the only legendary in this deck. It is tough to sub him but you can try the Battle Ram as they can charge towards the tower too or a Goblin Barrel.
Clash Royale Strategy:
The Ideal Strategy of this deck is to have your Giant tank for your Musketeer and then just before he expires, deploy the Miner together with the Minion Horde. Of course, this is the ideal. Usually, you use the Minions to take care of the Inferno Tower and just have the Miner tanking for the Musketeer instead. This can deal a good amount of damage that can destroy a tower.
If your opponent starts with a push right away, you can have the Musketeer get rid of them by planting her in the middle of your base together with the Goblins. After defending, drop the Giant at the bridge to start a push. You can then wait for a defense building like an Inferno Tower and if they do, use your Minions at the middle of the river to get rid of it. Make sure to use Zap to have the Inferno reset. Just before the Giant dies, deploy the Miner.
Your main defense card here is the Goblins together with the Minions. You can also use the Musketeer by dropping her in the middle of your base. This is to keep her away from any Fireball. You can then start with another push by dropping the Giant at the bridge.
As your deck is mainly low HP units such as Goblins, Minions, and Minion Horde, splash units and spells can pose a problem. You can use your Giant to tank and distract then Musketeer or any unit to finish them off. Another counter-push is under way too.
Watch how SirTag use this deck in Arena 11 - Legendary Arena and still win in his own ladder matches.
I tested this deck in my own ladder matches in Arena 10 - Hog Mountain. Out of 4 matches I made, I won them all! The decks I faced are Spell Cycle deck, Bridge Spam with Hog Rider, Hog Cycle Deck, and another Hog Cycle deck. This just proves that this deck works in ladder matches. This deck might even be my fave deck from all five.
