Furnace is one of the newest cards in Clash Royale. We built a control deck to utilize it's potential for an all-out attack with the P.E.K.K.A.

Furnace is one of the new Clash Royale cards. It is very similar to any huts like Barbarian Hut, Tombstone, and Goblin Hut.  It is unlockable in [Arena/(Arena 5) Spell Valley|Arena 5]]. It releases 2 Fire Spirits every 10 seconds. If you manage to get this card and want to build a Clash Royale Strategy around it, you have come to the right place!

As I mentioned above, Furnace releases 2 Fire Spirits that will sacrifice themselves to deal a good amount of AOE damage. Hence, this Clash Royale deck is good for both defending and attacking enemies, whether it is air or ground units.

This is a good offensive deck with low average elixir. P.E.K.K.A will be your main tank, while you constantly defend him with a Baby Dragon and Fire Spirits to destroy any counter units or buildings.

Clash Royale Furnace Deck:

Mirror P.E.K.K.A Spear Goblins Zap
Mirror P.E.K.K.A Spear Goblins Zap
Elixir Collector Furnace Baby Dragon Fire Spirits
Elixir Collector Furnace Baby Dragon Fire Spirits

Card Roles:

Average Elixir: 3.4+ (Mirror)

  • Mirror: To clone any of your troops depending on the situation. Usually used for cloning Elixir Collector to gain an advantage during the first 2 minutes of the match.
  • P.E.K.K.A: The main tank of this deck. His attacks are very powerful and can destroy towers in 2-3 hits. Support him at all costs since he costs plenty of elixirs.
  • Spear Goblins: A staple card in any deck. They can be used for distracting tanks or just dealing some damage to the tower.
  • Zap: It can stun enemies in an instant. It is good counters against the Minion Horde or any units since the one-second stun is very useful.
  • Elixir Collector: Another essential card for this deck. It will be used mainly to gain elixir advantage over the course of the match.
  • Furnace: The star of this deck. It is used to either defend or attack a tower. Make sure to use it once you put down a P.E.K.K.A or when you are going defensive.
  • Baby Dragon: Great support for P.E.K.K.A. It can destroy most of the counters surrounding the P.E.K.K.A such as Skeleton Army or Barbarians.
  • Fire Spirits: It is mostly used for defending a lane, especially against tanks. They can add support for the P.E.K.K.A too.

Battle Strategy:

At the start of the match, make sure you have 10 elixirs before dropping anything. If you have an Elixir Collector in your hand, drop it behind any of your towers. Once you get a Furnace, drop it beside your tower. It increases your defensive power with the Fire Spirits as it deploys 2 every 10 seconds. If you are defending, use Fire Spirits to deal significant damage and Baby Dragon + Zap to finish the job.

Once you drop a Furnace and wanted to go offensive, deploy P.E.K.K.A from behind of your tower. Always drop the Elixir Collector as much as possible. It will let you gain more elixir than your opponent. Again, keep dropping Furnace where your P.E.K.K.A is moving. The Baby Dragon needs to be deployed once P.E.K.K.A reaches the bridge. The best scenario would be having 2-3 Elixir Collector. 2 or more Furnace and a P.E.K.K.A + Baby Dragon combo. This is an unstoppable offense since Fire Spirits will be able to explode and deal good significant damage to the tower.

Mirror will be used in offense if you are doing a huge push. Either do a Baby Dragon duo or drop more Elixir Collector or Furnace for defense. They key strategy is to deploy as many Furnace while the high HP tank gathers all the attention. The Fire Spirits that come from the Furnace are really helpful in killing most counters against P.E.K.K.A.

Once you reach the 60-second mark, keep dropping the Furnace while minimizing the use of Elixir Collector to 1 or 2. In this scenario, having P.E.K.K.A + Mirror will be a total destruction unless your enemy has Minion Horde. Always have a Baby Dragon behind them since it is a very good AOE damage unit.

As much as the Furnace is concerned, the Fireball can significantly damage the Furnace if it is at a low level. The Fire Spirits from the Furnace and your deck can easily be killed by a Musketeer or Archers. All you can do is time your deployment with Fire Spirits.

The Inferno Tower will be a huge headache for this deck. It does not have Barbarians which are very useful against an Inferno Tower. Most of the time, the P.E.K.K.A will be the most-targeted unit by the Inferno Tower.

As a new card, Furnace can be quite confusing to use. This deck is one of the possibility to use Furnace. This deck is a very good control deck using Furnace and Baby Dragon. P.E.K.K.A can easily destroy towers in few hits. Furnance and Fire Spirits will be your ultimate supporting cards.
