Bring terror with this Slow-Aggressive deck you can rely on in taking down your opponent in a massive way. This deck is viable starting from the Frozen Arena.

This set of cards is strong against Hog Rider, Slow-Push, and Swarm Decks.

Card Roles:

  • Hog Rider - Early Wrecker. Use the Hog Rider's ability to tear down towers in the first minutes of the game. Support it with the Goblins, Ice Golem, or Bats. Prepare the Zap as well.
  • P.E.K.K.A - Stopper/Heavy Hitter. Deploy the PEKKA to create a strong push against the enemy. You can use her ability in taking down ground tank units in a short period of time. Support it well so it can reach the enemy tower.
  • Electro Wizard - Air/Ground Support. Support your towers and units with the Electro Wizard. His zapping ability will halt big threats such as the Inferno Dragon/Tower.
  • Bats - Cheap Swarm/Distraction. Deploy the Bats to counter air or ground units. Can also help your push to distract towers in hitting your PEKKA/Hog Rider early.
  • Goblins - Sneaky Support. Use the Goblins to counter units like the Goblin Barrel or distract incoming Elite Barbarians. You can also deploy it as a support for your Hog push.
  • Ice Golem - Kite and Tank. Aside from the Goblins, you can effectively use the Ice Golem in kiting ground threats. Let the Ice Golem absorb all the initial damage to help your towers/troops to take down units. You can also pair this with the Hog Rider.
  • Lightning - Team/Tower Knocker. Cast the Lightning Spell to take down buildings/towers. Can also help you annihilate threats early like the Three Musketeers or a 3-man team who are ready to take your tower down.
  • Zap - Cheap yet Effective Support Spell. Use the Zap to counter units who will attack your Hog Rider. This card is very useful at almost all times.

Clash Royale Strategy:

Ideal Strategy:

The ideal strategy of this deck is to perform offensive measures with the Hog Rider early. As you chip-in damage to your enemy's tower, you are getting ready to set your PEKKA free to wreck additional havoc later. Prepare spells and support wisely for countering the enemy's answers in each clash.

Offense:

For offense, you will have the Hog Rider with the Ice Golem/Goblins or Bats early. Cast the Zap to increase the chance of your units to deal extra damage or halt/weaken the units dropped. For a bigger push, you will need to have the PEKKA and the Electro Wizard. Consider using the Bats if your enemy is countering you with an Inferno Dragon or Inferno Tower. There are instances that the Electro Wizard will be distracted by units. If this happens, let the Bats or the Goblins distract their dropped counters. If the enemy plants an Inferno Tower early, you can knock it down with the Lightning Spell. Just make sure you will hit it together with the enemy's Crown Tower or two of their big units.

Defense:

You can use the PEKKA to take down bulky units such as the Golem or the Giant. In weakening the Lava Hound, you will need to have the Electro Wizard and the Bats to do the work. If support is coming, deploy the Ice Golem to kite them well. Support it with the Goblins or Zap afterwards. You can also use the Bats to kill Skeletons from the Graveyard or from the Skeleton Army. If being countered with the Zap Spell, use the Electro Wizard to kill low HP units effectively. The Ice Golem can also help you out tank the swarms. You can finish them off by supporting it with your available cheap counters. While dealing with Hog Rider, you can use the Bats or the Goblins for a positive elixir trade. If having a hard time, deploy the Electro Wizard to help.

Cast the Zap in taking down extra swarms if fighting against bait decks. Use the Lightning Spell in taking down threats such as the Three Musketeers and the like.

Additional Tip:

If being attacked with a slow-push combo, run your way on the opposite side with the Hog Rider. You can keep the pressure by forcing the enemy to abandon their big push by countering your unit. Remember to use the Hog Rider with the Bats/Goblins only in this kind of counter-attack. This is for you to have enough elixir to answer their initial attack later on.

Weakness:

Weakness might be found in dealing with Aerial and Tornado Decks. This might be tough to fight with but can be outplayed later on. Play defensively in the early stages of the game. Build a counter-push out of your defensive units particularly with the PEKKA and the Electro Wizard. Synergize these two with the Hog Rider to keep the pressure up to bring tension to the enemy.

Overall:

This deck is really tricky and deadly at the same time. If you play it carelessly in the first part of the battle, you will end up in trouble later on. Understanding your opponent's deck early will help you strategize up until the last minute of the battle.
