Overview:

Clash Royale isn't only about 3-crowning your opponent, completing your card collection, or maxing all your cards. Through Clans, players are given a place to mingle with their fellow Clashers, donate cards or ask for card donations, and share tips and deck strategies in order to help each other find their place in the leaderboards.

Not only that, clan members can also participate in Friendly Battles where they can test decks and improve their tactics.

Those from the same clan who all live in the same country or area can hold meet-ups where they can conduct tournaments in order to find out who among them is the best Clasher. As a matter of fact, 2 months before the game's official release in March, YouTubers gathered in Helsinki, Finland for the first-ever unofficial Clash Royale tournament early this year.

Friendly Battles and Tournaments are guarded by rules to ensure their fairness. At present, here are the factors that players need to consider before participating in the aforementioned special matches. 2016-04-15-01-50-10-AX41Lbu.png

The present Tournament Rules are the following:

- King Level Cap: 8 - Common Level Cap: 8 - Rare Level Cap: 6 - Epic Level Cap: 3 - Legendary Level Cap: 1 - Overtime Length: 3 minutes

However, Supercell has decided to raise all the level caps--except for Legendary cards--in the next update to be implemented in May. The main reason for the changes is that the developers believe battles among experienced players are the most worthwhile.

Official Clash Royale Tournament Rules:

- King Level Cap: 9 - Common Level Cap: 9 - Rare Level Cap: 7 - Epic Level Cap: 4 - Legendary Level Cap: 1 - Overtime Length: 3 minutes

In order to help Clashers fulfill the above requirements, the next update will include two changes with regards to rewards and card donation.

From next month, there will be more reasons to push for Crowns in order to open these shiny chests, as rewards obtained from Crown Chests will be doubled. Furthermore, as you reach higher Arenas, the card donation system will improve too. These changes will surely make it easier to level your cards.

Supercell is also planning to add another feature that will aid in both improving one's skills as a Clasher, and planning Tournaments as well. Live Spectating will allow players to watch as a Friendly Battle is taking place.

First Official Tournament:

The developers of this thrilling card-battle-strategy game is going to hold an international tournament in Helsinki, Finland where 200 players will battle against one another in order to determine who the world's number one Clasher really is. This is scheduled to happen tomorrow, 16th April at 1:00 EST, and fans can watch it live on the page below.
