2.9 Hog Princess Cycle Deck for Arena 10 and Above
The classic Hog - Princess strategy is back and is working great in this insane meta.

This article had a major update on .

Overview and Strength:

The classic Hog Cycle is still kicking even in this crazy meta. He is paired with the Princess to take care of any cheap and low HP units and to deal chip damage too. This deck is for advanced users who know how to use the Ice Golem as a kite and lure to make incoming units cross your base and activate the 2nd Tower Archer.

The strength of this deck is its average elixir of 2.9. With this cheap and low elixir count, you can make another Hog push together with the units you used for countering. Don't forget to add the 3 elixir Princess for support and added damage.

2.9 Hog Princess Cycle Deck:

Fireball Goblins Hog Rider Ice Golem

Mega Minion Princess The Log Tombstone

Card Roles:

  • Fireball - Say no more to Three Musketeers and Barbarians. You can also use this spell against buildings. Make sure to hit the crown tower too. A unit passing by is a bonus.
  • Goblins - They are cheap and effective units to take down tower locking troops such as Hog Riders, Giants etc.
  • Hog Rider - Main win condition. Pair him with the Princess.
  • Ice Golem - Use it as a lure and a kite while your Princess, Goblins, and Tower Archers deal some damage.
  • Mega Minion - Main defense unit. Use it against aerial and ground troops.
  • Princess - The perfect pair for your Hog. She can also chip damage for defense and to your opponent's crown tower.
  • The Log - You can use it as a predictive log against low HP units.
  • Tombstone - It bursts into several Skeletons to finish off any intruder. It also lures units in the middle of your base.

Clash Royale Strategy:

Ideal Strategy:

The ideal strategy of this deck is to start aggressively. If you have a Princess + Hog Rider on hand, bring them down directly at the bridge. The Hog will go directly to the tower and the Princess will help clear the way. You can use the Fireball in case there's a Tombstone or The Log if your Princess is already locked in a tower.

Offense of this deck is pretty much Hog Rider + Princess. Sometimes, if your units such as the Mega Minion or Goblins survived their defense, you can go for a quick Hog Rider push. Add the Princess to cover everybody.

Use your Tombstone and plant it in the middle of your base. Use your Goblins for tower locking units and add the Mega Minion too. Place the Princess at the back of your king tower to add to the damage. The Ice Golem is also there to distract and kite other units while your cheap units deal damage.

As with other Hog Rider decks, Tornado can pose a problem. This spell can pull him towards the opponent's king tower and activate it. Baiting it out is a bit difficult as he might save it for your Hog Rider. In this situation, make use of the Princess' chip damage. You can also use the Fireball to add to the damage. Continue doing your Hog + Princess push.

I've also noticed the Balloon. You can counter it with the Mega Minion but lure it first with your Tombstone to give your Mega Minion, tower archers, and Princess enough damage to stop it.

Watch CLASHwithSHANE face of with the same Hog + Princess deck and how he uses it in his own ladder matches in Arena 11.

Final Overview:

I used this deck in my own ladder matches. To be honest, I won 3 games in a row. This includes level 11 players with level 10 Giants. I lost on my 4th match as I faced a level 9 Hog Rider with Tornado Executioner combo. The deck I lost to, got Elite Barbs as well. I would rate the winning of this deck to 7.5/10.
